This River calls to me
And it’s you that my mind rushes to.
And so I dive under this water;
And it’s you.
I hear you.
You call to me and this River calls to me
And I go.
I will go to this River
And I will always go to you.
I invite the inevitable.
I pull you under because I am drowning.
And you are not afraid of Death.
This River holds me like you would hold me.
The icy cold climbs through my blood.
And your hands slide up my thighs.
I drink you in
And water replaces oxygen.
I close my eyes and you are inside of me.
I give you my breath.
And in exchange, you take all of my pain
You lay me down, beneath this water.
And this is endless.
More than the water,
You are more.
You are everything
